The most important aspect of LoFT is the creation of teams that will challenge one another’s preconceptions about people who are different from them. By being put into a situation where they need to develop, finance and carry out a major project as a team, participants will come into close contact with the realities of ethnic, social, religious and cultural differences.

While teams will undoubtedly have their differences at times, working so closely alongside team mates will encourage individuals to find out more about one another – and to explore the differences, and similarities, between themselves and their colleagues.
